I had this epiphany last night about how I have been conditioned to relate to the use of my Black Woman Body. Learning that its sole function is to be a tool for building foundations and structures for other people only. That I am only as good as the work I do for others. Not realizing that to do for me is to do for others. AND that both are and should be accessible. I think these findings are also hovering around the conversations that keeps coming up for me around Black Women and their historical and current relationship to labor.
