Wishin N' Washin

Commissioned by: Deborah Slater Dance Theatre
Wishin N’ Washin utilizes the ritual of washing to discuss histories of servitude and prescribed religious standards. Migrating the audience through jazz-infused realms rich with ancestral choreographies and character-based storytelling, Wishin N’ Washin submerges viewers into a Blackened cultural landscape where the past and present collide.
