TEDxKingLincolnBronzeville:
Inside the Riot (excerpts)

Inside the Riot, is a choreopoem (Poetry, Music & Movement) illuminating civil unrest in modern society. This work challenges the ideology of change and disruption as means of public demonstration for the sake of social change and eradication of oppressive forces that belie our society. This production is about those societal norms imposed upon those who have had enough. Inside the Riot addresses the complexity of layers within the hurricane of protest and the purpose, struggle, and hierarchy of organized protest.
