Ward Premiere: Spring 2021 Imma Witness is a short film study done in collaboration with my colleagues Maggie Laszewski, Caroline Rocher Barnes, and Carlo Villanueva. With my words and voice performing as the connective tissue to their embodied studies of witnessing, I welcome the audience to see themselves inside the negative spaces provided on the screen. It is through the dual seeing of self and performer that I welcome us to grapple with what it means to truly be and feel seen. |
