Imma Witness is a short film study created in collaboration with Maggie Laszewski, Caroline Rocher Barnes, and Carlo Villanueva. My words and voice act as connective tissue, moving alongside their embodied studies of witnessing. Through this shared terrain, I invite the audience to locate themselves within the negative spaces of the screen. It is through this dual act of seeing—self and performer—that the work asks us to grapple with what it means to bee seen and feel seen.
