Spoken Words

Limbo

3/12/2020

Reality been slippin' making me feel more dependent
Desperately I chased the feelings I once thought...forget it

These spirits is tripping, they trynna find a conduit
Conning me to believe, that they the reason for this shit

Under my bed just trynna find their time to pounce
Slithering in languages my mind aint programed to pronounce

These walls is talking and keys is falling
Speaking to my heart in crescents plastered onto the walls

Two pills, they bring neither fortune or fame
A coffin of death, veiled, lucif's desire for man

How much that dolla cost if you go insane
A soulless vessel, whose forgotten the potter from which they came.
Tick, tick, tick, tocking away
My soul living in a space
Tumbling' down hills trynna escape my fate, but cant escape

Sensing my fear
Quietly speaking in my ear
Pon de replaying the thoughts that God would never meet me here

Speaking in tongues, living in lies, my nigga said watch what I'm doing
Hazzardous message, happily, reveling
Watching these flames split in two

Transcending, powerful being, omnisciently speaking
Forgetting my place aint next to the king, ya see.

"Poetry has served as a linguistic code since I was a child. It allowed me to speak freely without fear.
In an effort to synchronize my creative voices I am giving my love for poetry a home in my creative process.
    These are my spoken words."
